Beirut, Lebanon, today. Wardi, an eleven-year-old Palestinian girl, lives with her whole family in the refugee camp where she was born. Sidi, her beloved great-grandfather, was one of the first to settle there after being expelled from his village in 1948. The day Sidi entrusts her with the key to his former home in Galilee, Wardi fears he has lost hope of ever returning. How can Wardi, with the help of every member of the family, help Sidi reconnect with that hope?
