Tepulpaï and Naïra, two young native Americans of the Andes, leave to the pursuit of the Pachamama, protective totem of their village, confiscated by the Incas. Their quest will lead them to Cuzco, royal capital besieged by the conquistadors. This adventure takes the two children from their mountain village to Cuzco, capital of the Inca Empire. The story is told from their point of view, especially with the arrival of the conquistadors who plunder and pillage in search of gold. The way of life of the Andean people and their beliefs are vividly portrayed, especially through music and stunning visuals.
