The Film Festival in Linz (re)presents impressive European Auteur Cinema
For the 20th time, the CROSSING EUROPE Film Festival Linz (26.4.-1.5.2023) takes place and positions Linz once again as a cinephilic meeting point for European cinema with a focus on the young generation of European filmmakers. In its anniversary year, the festival once again provides insights into a continent with a complex history, a conflict-ridden present and yet a hopeful future.
CROSSING EUROPE presents itself as an attractive and communicative platform for young filmmakers, cineastes and representatives of the film industry. As a festival of manageable size, the focus is on the film experience in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to around 130 feature films, documentaries and short films from all over Europe, CROSSING EUROPE offers the opportunity for direct exchange with attending filmmakers.
Our jointly curated festival collection includes European films screened at previous editions of CROSSING EUROPE.
